A journal that is yours
Every entry in one SQLite file on your own box. Write from the phone, the desktop, the terminal or a Shortcut; search by word or by meaning; it works offline and syncs when you are back.
One file, a small server, a console for your phone and a 3D deck to walk. Free to run yourself today. Hosted LCARS is coming - leave your email and we write once, when it opens.

Every entry in one SQLite file on your own box. Write from the phone, the desktop, the terminal or a Shortcut; search by word or by meaning; it works offline and syncs when you are back.

Your journal as a starship: walk the bridge, sit in a chair, pin entries to the viewer. In the browser, on a phone or a laptop.

Tasks live in your entries, with a board and a month view. Reminders reach your phone over CalDAV.

Streaks, the busiest hours, what is growing, the link graph between your pages. Measured from what you wrote, nothing sent away.

Pages link to each other, and the graph shows how. Ask the ship's computer about your journal, by voice or text. A crew of AI engineers can change the app itself, to your orders.

The same LCARS, run for you: no server to keep, your own journal, yours to export or take home at any time.
Join the waitlistThe list is kept by the author of LCARS, who decides what is done with it (the controller, in the GDPR's words). We keep your email, the line on what you would use it for if you wrote one, that you ticked the box, and when. They are used for one thing: to write to you when hosted LCARS opens. No tracking, no cookies, no analytics on this page, and the list is never shared or sold. To stop abuse, the address your request came from is kept as a scrambled hash for an hour, then deleted. To be taken off the list, write to lcars@ this site's domain and it is deleted.
